Domestic cleaning

Home & Garden Questions

Roof cleaning, biocide treatments, patios and driveways, render, gutters, soffits and fascias, surface sealing and aerial inspections.

Most roofs in Hampshire, West Sussex and Surrey benefit from a full clean every 5 to 10 years, depending on how shaded the roof is and how quickly moss returns. Applying a biocide treatment every 2 to 3 years in between keeps moss and algae from coming back, so a full clean is needed far less often.
No. We remove moss by hand and with soft-bristle tools, then use low-pressure rinsing where needed, so tiles and ridge mortar are protected. We never blast tiles with high pressure. All debris is collected and taken away, and gutters are cleared at the end of the job.
A biocide is a professional DDAC-based treatment that kills moss, algae and lichen spores at the root. After a roof clean we apply it to stop regrowth, and our roof cleaning is backed by a 2-year no-moss guarantee. Re-treating every 2 to 3 years keeps the roof clean long term.
Roof cleaning starts from £500 and is priced per square metre, based on the size, pitch, access and how much moss there is. We give fixed, no-obligation quotes, and an aerial roof inspection can be used to assess the roof first. Payment plans are available.
Yes. We match the pressure and cleaning method to the surface, whether it’s block paving, natural stone, porcelain, concrete or tarmac. For block paving we re-sand the joints once the surface is dry, which may be done on a separate day depending on the weather.
Yes. Oil stain removal is available as an add-on, priced by the area and how severe the staining is. Older or deep stains may lighten rather than disappear completely, and we’ll always tell you what to expect before we start.
Softwashing uses low pressure and professional biocides (AlgoClear Pro and BioClear Pro 50) to kill algae, mould, lichen and black spots rather than blasting them off. It’s the safe way to clean render, painted surfaces, cladding, fascias and soffits, and results last much longer than pressure washing alone.
You’ll see an immediate improvement on most render, with green algae lifting the same day. Some deeper black staining continues to fade over the following days and weeks as the treatment keeps working and the surface weathers clean.
Yes. We use an industrial gutter vacuum with a camera system to clear moss, leaves and debris from gutters and roof valleys, check that downpipes are flowing and show you before and after images. We can also softwash the outside of the guttering, fascias and soffits.
Sealing protects against oil stains, weather damage, fading and weed growth, and helps the surface stay cleaner for longer. We are a Resiblock registered installer and seal stone, block paving, porcelain, resin, concrete and tarmac in matte or gloss finishes.
Not usually. As long as we have access to the areas being cleaned and an outside tap, many jobs can be done while you’re out. We’ll agree the details with you when you book.
Access to an outside tap is helpful, but we carry our own equipment and can bring water if needed. Let us know when booking if you don’t have an outside tap.
