On a commercial or industrial site, clean surfaces are about far more than kerb appeal. Algae on walkways, oil in loading bays, dirty cladding and dust settling on overhead services all affect safety, presentation and the life of your building.
East Hants Cleaning works with commercial property owners, industrial operators, facilities management companies and managing agents to keep sites clean, safe and presentable. We cover the outside of the building with professional pressure washing and softwashing, and the inside with controlled high-level dust removal.
Every method is chosen for the surface and the contamination in front of us, and every job is planned around your site rules so work gets done with minimal disruption to staff, customers and production.
Most contractors do one or the other. We look after the whole of your site, from car parks and cladding to the steelwork and ducting overhead.
Hard surfaces, façades and rooflines cleaned with the right pressure, the right chemistry and the right access equipment.
Controlled removal of built-up dust from pipework, beams and HVAC ducting in the places routine cleaning never reaches.
From precast panels and cladding to car parks and kerbs, every surface gets the cleaning method that suits it.
Concrete, block paving, brick and stone cleaned back to a safe, presentable finish. Pressure is matched to each surface to lift dirt, moss, traffic film, oil and tyre marks without damage.
A low-pressure clean for surfaces that high pressure would damage. Professional biocides treat algae, mould, lichen and organic staining at the root, then the surface is rinsed or left to weather clean.
Precast concrete panels trap algae and atmospheric staining in their texture. Softwashing lifts it without eroding the face or forcing water into the joints.
Composite, metal and coated cladding softwashed to remove green growth, pollution film and bird fouling, restoring your building at any height.
Through-coloured and painted render treated with professional biocides to clear black spots, algae and lichen, with long-lasting results.
Industrial gutter vacuum and camera inspection to clear gutters, valleys and outlets on large roofs, followed by softwashing the outside of the guttering.
Rotary surface cleaners give an even, streak-free finish across large car parks, hardstanding and yards, including oil and fuel staining.
Walkways, entrances, kerbs, plinths and pelmets cleaned to cut slip risk and keep high-footfall areas looking cared for.
Heavy-duty cleaning to shift grease, oil, rubber and debris from loading docks, service yards and industrial areas.
Dust gathers wherever routine cleaning can’t reach: on pipework, structural beams, racking, HVAC ducting, cable trays and high ledges. Over time, vehicle movements, machinery and air handling knock it loose so it resettles on stock, equipment and workstations.
We remove it in a controlled way, using professional vacuum and cleaning equipment so dust is captured rather than pushed around the building. Our IPAF-trained operatives work from powered access platforms to reach the highest steelwork safely.
Non-hazardous dust only. We remove general dust and debris. We don’t handle asbestos, toxic, combustible or explosive process dust, or anything that needs specialist hazardous-material procedures. If you’re unsure what a dust is, it should be assessed before we start.
Facilities teams need contractors who arrive with the paperwork done. Here’s what comes with every commercial job.
Site-specific Risk Assessments and Method Statements set out how the work will be done and how each risk is controlled.
Where cleaning chemicals are used, we supply a COSHH assessment for each product before work starts.
Our operatives are trained to use powered access platforms and mobile towers, so elevated areas are reached safely.
The right PPE for every task, safe systems of work on site and full public liability insurance.
No two sites are the same. Before we quote, we look at the surface, the contamination and how your site operates, then choose the right approach.
Facilities managers need more than someone who can clean a surface. You need a contractor who turns up when booked, follows your site rules, communicates clearly and leaves a tidy, safe site behind.
We work with facilities management companies, property managers, site managers and industrial operators on one-off projects and on planned preventative maintenance schedules for single sites or whole portfolios.
